All books, papers, vouchers, warrants, entries, accounts and memoranda of each and every officer may be examined at any time by the President or any member of the Board. The Board may, by resolution, call upon any officer to make a report, in writing, on any subject matter which said Board may designate in such resolution and within such time as said resolution may prescribe.
Any person having been an officer of the Village shall, within five days after notification and request, deliver to his successor in office all money, property, books and effects of every description in his position belonging to the Village or pertaining to said office. (1981 Code)
