A. Elected Officers: The elected officers of the Village are a President, a Board of six Trustees, a Library Board of six Directors and a Village Clerk. (1981 Code)
B. Appointed Officers: The other officers of the Village shall be appointed by the President and Board at its first regular meeting in the month of May in each year, or as soon thereafter as may be, and shall hold their offices as hereinafter provided and until their successors are appointed and qualified. Any officers so appointed may be suspended or removed from office for good and sufficient cause, and all vacancies may be filled by said President and Board. Said appointed officers may consist of a Village Administrator, a Health Commissioner, Village Attorney, Village Finance Director, Director of Public Works, Fire Chief, Chief of Police, and Village Prosecutor.
