A. Permit Required: It shall be unlawful to construct or lay any pavement on any public street, sidewalk, alley or other public way, or to repair the same without first having secured a permit therefor. Application for such permit shall be made to the director of public works and shall state the location of the intended pavement or repair, the extent thereof and the person who is to do the actual construction work.
B. Bond: Each applicant for a permit to construct, repair or lay any pavement on any street, alley or other public way shall file a bond, with surety conditioned to indemnify the village for any loss or damage resulting from the work undertaken or the manner of doing the same.
Said bond shall be in such amount and form as may be required by the director of public works. (1981 Code)
C. Permit Fees: Before any permit shall be issued, there shall be paid to the village the permit fee of twenty five dollars. (Ord. 2309, 9-26-1988)
