There is hereby established a commission of the village to be known as the sustainability commission which shall consist of seven members, to each serve for terms of four years on a staggered basis and until his or her successor is appointed and qualified. Three members of the commission appointed for initial terms shall serve two year terms with their successive terms being four years. All commission members shall be residents of the village, except that one member may be a nonvillage resident who is an owner or manager of a business located in the village.
The village administrator, or his or her designee, and a member of the village board of trustees, shall be ex officio commission members. Ex officio commission members shall have no vote. (Ord. 3640, 2-13-2017)
