(A) The Opioid Settlement Unrestricted Fund is hereby created as a special, non- reverting fund with fund number 2256. Payments received from any opioid settlement that are unrestricted shall be deposited in the Opioid Settlement Unrestricted Fund.
(B) The Opioid Settlement Unrestricted Fund shall be used to benefit the citizens of Rising Sun in manners such as, but not limited to, distributions to the Rising Sun Police Department, the Rising Sun Volunteer Fire Department, and/or the Rising Sun-Ohio County Community School Corporation for medical services and/or training designed to combat the opioid epidemic.
