§ 71.08 COMMERCIAL VEHICLES; CONSTRUCTION VEHICLES.
   It shall be unlawful for any trucks licensed for more than 7,000 pounds, construction equipment or commercial vehicles to be parked or left standing upon the public streets except for the purpose of loading and unloading those vehicles and then only for periods not exceeding two hours. Owners or operators of any such vehicle desiring to park for a period longer than two hours for purposes of loading and unloading shall obtain a written permit for so doing from the Police Chief, for which permit no charge shall be made. While being loaded and unloaded, trucks shall, when possible, be kept parallel with the curb and at all times shall be kept as close to the right-hand curb as possible.
