§ 52.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Notice of offense; deadline for correction. When any person, firm or corporation violates any provisions or requirements set out in this chapter, a written notice stating the offense and setting a time limit for the correction thereof shall be served upon the offender by a duly authorized representative of the city. The offender shall, within the time limit stated in the notice served upon him or her, forever cease all the violations.
   (B)   Continuing violation; fine. Any person, firm or corporation who shall continue to violate any of the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $2,500. Each day in which the violation may continue shall be deemed a separate offense.
