Driveway aprons, meaning the portion of the driveway within the public right of way, in the business districts shall be seven inches thick, one course Portland cement concrete construction similar to sidewalks, except as otherwise specified. Asphaltic concrete or blacktop aprons are not permitted in business districts.
In residence districts, driveway aprons may be either seven-inch Portland cement concrete or ten-inch blacktop asphaltic concrete, provided that a four foot wide Portland cement concrete sidewalk seven inches thick is extended across the driveway.
