1101.01  HEALTH OFFICER DEFINED.
   For the purposes of this Health Code, "Health Officer" means the Jackson County Health Officer.
1101.02  AUTHORITY TO ENTER PREMISES FOR INSPECTION.
   The Health Officer has authority to enter, except in the nighttime, upon any premises or building within the corporate limits of the City, in the discharge of his duties, and the same authority shall be had by any sanitary police officer or by any special or regular officer detailed as a sanitary policeman to assist the Health Officer in the performance of his duties.
1101.03  OBSTRUCTING HEALTH OFFICER IN PURSUANCE OF HIS DUTIES.
   No person shall prevent or obstruct, or attempt to prevent or obstruct the execution of any order of the Health Officer issued in pursuance of the authority granted to him by any provision of this Health Code or any ordinance of the City.
1101.04  REPORT OF CONTAGIOUS DISEASES BY PHYSICIAN.
   Every physician practicing within the corporate limits of the City shall immediately report to the Health Officer every case or suspected case of typhus, typhoid, cerebro spinal or spotted fever, measles, German measles, whooping cough, mumps, chicken pox, tuberculosis or any other endemic, epidemic, infectious or contagious disease which he attends within the City limits, giving the name, age, sex, race, occupation, sanitary conditions and location of the patient and the physician's diagnosis.
1101.05  REPORT OF CONTAGIOUS DISEASES BY HOUSEHOLDER.
   In case no physician is in attendance on any diseased person mentioned in Section 1101.04, the householder in whose house such case occurs shall report such diseased person immediately to the Health Officer.
1101.06  FAILURE TO REPORT CONTAGIOUS DISEASES.
   No physician or householder shall fail to report any infectious or contagious disease, as provided in Section 1101.04 or 1101.05, within the twelve hours after he has knowledge of the disease.
1101.99  GENERAL CODE PENALTY.
   Whoever violates any provision of this Health Code for which no penalty is otherwise provided shall be fined not more than two hundred dollars ($200.00) or imprisoned not more than thirty days, or both.
