361.16  PARKING CITATIONS AND NOTICES.
   To aid and expedite the enforcement of this article and other provisions relating to parking, a City police officer may issue and post upon any vehicle parked in violation of this article a citation and notice to appear before the Municipal Court.  The citation shall include the date, time and location of the vehicle, its license number, the make of the vehicle, the owner’s name and address and the police officer’s name.  The date set for the scheduled appearance in Municipal Court shall be not less than five nor more than thirty days from the date the citation is issued.  Any such citation issued may specify a fine that is in accordance with the penalties provided by these ordinances for violations thereof to be paid on or before the scheduled court date.  Should the individual against whom any such citation is issued appear on the scheduled date in Municipal Court and contest the citation, the Municipal Court shall proceed to issue a summons or warrant, and to hear the case in the same manner provided for any other criminal violation of a City ordinance.
