171.02 CITY JUDGE; APPOINTMENT; DUTIES.

Pursuant to the provisions of West Virginia Code 8-10-2, the Mayor shall appoint a qualified person to the office of the City Judge. The City Judge and City Court shall have jurisdiction, exercise the powers and perform the duties specified for mayors, municipal courts and municipal judges respectively, in West Virginia Code 8-10-1 and 8-10-2 as amended.
