149.20  MILITARY LEAVE.
   In accordance with State law, each employee of the City who is a member of the National Guard or any military reserve unit of the United States Armed Services shall be entitled to leave of absence without loss of pay for the days during which they are engaged in drills, or other duty, or for field training or active service of the State for a maximum period of thirty days during each calendar year.  "Without loss of pay" means that the employee shall receive his or her normal salary or compensation from the City, without regard to any other compensation the employee receives from any federal or state source during the same period.  The benefits of this section shall not apply to employees ordered or called to active military duty by the President of the United States.
