In compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (PL 88-352) and with West Virginia Code 5-11-9 as amended, the City shall not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment on the basis of race, color, religion, disability, sex, age or national origin. This policy shall include, but not be limited to employment, upgrading, demotion, transfers, recruitment, layoff, termination, compensation training or any of the activities related to the provisions of these policies or procedures.
