(a) The Employment Committee shall conduct interviews of candidates for employment with the City and make recommendations to the Mayor and to the Common Council.
(b) The Employment Committee shall be comprised of the following persons:
(1) Mayor;
(2) Recorder;
(3) Two members of the Common Council;
(4) City Superintendent; alternately, the Police Chief if the position to be considered is one in the Police Department;
(5) Supervisor or senior employee of the department affected by the employment position under consideration. (8-5-97)
