Four members of the Commission shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business. The members of the Commission shall attend meetings and public hearings of the Commission on a regular basis.
The members of the Commission shall serve without compensation, but Council may reimburse members for authorized expenses of their duties, or for attendance at conferences related to their responsibilities, provided such approval is secured in advance.
The Commission shall hold an organizational meeting in September of each year and shall
elect a chairperson, vice-chairperson and secretary from its membership before proceeding to any other matters of business. The terms of these officers shall be for one year. The Commission shall meet at least quarterly, or more often as needed. A copy of the minutes of all meetings shall be submitted to Council.
