Any customer may request a meter test for the accuracy of their meter. The customer shall first deposit $25.00 for the removal and testing of their meter by our certified inspector. If, when tested the meter is found to be more than two percent (2%) in error, the amount advanced shall be properly refunded to the customer. If the meter is not found to be more than two percent (2%) in error, the utility shall retain the amount advanced by the customer for the test. The customer may be present during the testing.
