149.25  ABSENCE.
   It is vital that employees report absences at the earliest possible opportunity by telephone to the City Hall business secretary.  Unreported absences shall constitute absences without leave, for which an employee will not be paid.  Repeated absences without leave, or excessive absenteeism, may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
