105.03  INAPPLICABLE SECTIONS OF STATE ACT.
   The West Virginia Legislature has provided by the terms and language  of the West Virginia Governmental Ethics Act that municipalities through their governing bodies may determine that certain provisions of the Act are inapplicable or unduly burdensome for the City to administer, and therefore expressly not adopted or applied to the City.  In accordance with the authority granted by state law, Council does hereby expressly opt not to include and does not adopt as applicable to the City, its officials or employees, the provisions and requirements relating to lobbyists and to financial disclosure as set forth in West Virginia Code 6B-2-6 and 6B-2-7, as amended.
