Any person who violates any provision of this article upon failure to remove weeds or grass or poisonous or noxious vegetation growth after having been given a notice under Section 1143.01, shall be fined not more than fifty dollars ($50.00). Each day such violation shall continue shall constitute a separate offense.

After notice and hearing, the fine imposed under this section shall become a lien upon the land and the Mayor shall direct the City Attorney to take all necessary measures to protect the City’s interest. (10-17-95)
