(a) General. All liquor licensees shall equip their licensed premises with security cameras covering (i) interior areas of the premises open to the public and (ii) the entrances and exits to said premises.
(b) Location. The location of the security cameras shall be subject to the prior approval of the Chief of Police or his or her designee.
(c) Operation; Preservation; Availability to Police Department. The cameras shall be operational during all hours when the licensee's business is open for business. The cameras shall be equipped to maintain recordings for a minimum of 30 days. The licensee shall make designated footage available to the Police Department within 72 hours of request.
(d) Existing Licensees. All existing liquor licensees shall come into compliance on or before May 1, 2024, in conjunction with the renewal of their liquor licenses.
(e) New Licensees. All new liquor licensees shall come into compliance with the requirements of this section as a condition of the issuance of a certificate of occupancy for the licensed premises.
