There is hereby adopted by reference, as if the same were fully described herein, for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire or explosion, that certain fire prevention code known as the 2018 International Fire Code, as promulgated by the International Code Council. Such Code, together with this Part Sixteen - Fire Prevention, shall be the Fire Prevention Code of the Village, save and except for such portions thereof as are hereinafter deleted, modified or amended, and from the date this chapter takes effect the provisions thereof shall be controlling within the limits of the Village.
