(a) No person shall construct, erect, alter, use or maintain a swimming pool in violation of any of the provisions of this chapter or cause, permit or suffer any such violation to be committed.
(b) It is the responsibility of the offender to abate the violation as expeditiously as possible, and each day during which such violation is permitted to continue shall constitute a separate offense, punishable as provided in Section 1468.99.
