(a) The Village shall make reasonable periodic inspections and tests of all private residential swimming pools.

(b) If the Village Manager has reasonable cause to believe that a private residential swimming pool does not meet the operational requirements of this chapter, he or she shall authorize, as required, the Building Inspector, a health and safety inspector or a water and sewer inspector to inspect such swimming pool. If any such inspecting officer finds that the operation of the pool does not meet the applicable requirements of this chapter or that a violation of any of the provisions of this chapter endangers the Village water distribution system, he or she may direct that the pool be closed until such time as the requirements of this chapter are met. No person shall deny access to the pool to such inspectors between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
