1468.01 DEFINITIONS.
   As used in this chapter:
   (a)   "Lot" means a portion of a subdivision or other parcel of land with or without building development.
   (b)   "Permanent pool" means a constructed pool which cannot be disassembled, moved or relocated in its entirety or in part.
   (c)   "Pool depth" means the distance between the floor of the pool and the maximum operating level of water when such pool is in use.
   (d)   "Private residential swimming pool" means a swimming pool, whether permanent or temporary, which is intended for and maintained by an individual primarily for the sole use of his or her household and guests and not for the purpose of profit or in connection with any business operated for profit.
   (e)   "Public swimming pool" means a swimming pool which is operated and maintained by a governmental agency or by an organization for members on either a profit or nonprofit basis, or by an individual for a consideration.
   (f)   "Swimming pool" means an accessory structure, whether indoors or outdoors, which is a receptacle for water, or an artificial pool of water, having a depth at any point of more than twenty-four inches and with a capacity of more than 1,000 gallons, or with a water surface area exceeding 250 square feet, which is used or intended for the purpose of immersion or partial immersion therein of human beings. "Swimming pool" includes all appurtenant equipment constructed, installed and maintained in or above the ground.
   (g)   "Temporary pool" means a manufactured pool designed, either in its entirety or by section, for seasonal assembly and dismantling.
