(a) Any certificate of occupancy issued by the inspector shall not be construed in any way to be a warranty, guarantee or insurance against any violation of the provisions of Section 1467.03.
(b) Any code official, officer or employee who acts in good faith and without malice in the discharge of his or her duties of enforcement of this chapter is relieved of all personal liability pursuant to the applicable section of the BOCA National Property Maintenance Code.
