1465.03 CONSTRUCTION AND LOCATION REQUIREMENTS.
   (a)   A brick or masonry mailbox shall conform in all respects to United States Postal Service requirements and specifications for mail receptacles and Building Department specifications.
   (b)   Such mailboxes shall be constructed in a sturdy, secure and workmanlike manner so as not to present or create an unreasonable, dangerous or hazardous obstruction.
   (c)   Such mailboxes shall be constructed upon an approved footing of not less than thirty-six inches below the grade of the nearest roadway surface.
   (d)   Such mailboxes shall not exceed five feet in height and two feet in width and depth.
   (e)   Such mailboxes shall be set back eighteen inches from the curb. Should no curb be present, then such mailboxes shall be set back eighteen inches from the near edge of the paved surface.
