(a) There is hereby established a Code Hearing Department, the function of which is to expedite the presentation and correction of code violations in the manner set out in this chapter. The Code Hearing Department shall consist of the Hearing Officer and such other Village employees, officers or agents as may be assigned by the Village Manager to expedite the prosecution and correction of code violations as provided in this chapter.
(b) The adoption of this chapter does not preclude the Village from using other lawful methods to enforce the provisions of its codes.
