(a) To cover the costs of responding to false alarms, the alarm user shall pay to the Village, for each false alarm in excess of two in any year, beginning May 1 and ending April 30, transmitted by any automatic protection device, alarm system or local alarm, the following amounts:
(1) Residential alarms (annually). Fees
Third false alarm $ 50.00
Fourth false alarm 100.00
Fifth and any subsequent false alarm 200.00
(2) Business alarms (annually).
Third false alarm 50.00
Fourth false alarm 100.00
Fifth and any subsequent false alarm 200.00
(b) Each such charge shall be due and payable not later than thirty days after mailing or delivery of an invoice therefor.
