860.01 DEFINITIONS.
   As used in this chapter, "peddler" or "hawker" means a person who sells, or offers for sale, barter or exchange, any goods, wares, merchandise or other commodities, traveling from place to place on, along or upon the streets of the Village, or who sells and delivers, from any wagon, pushcart or other vehicle going from place to place, any goods, wares, merchandise, meat, poultry, fish, cheese, lard, vegetables, baked products or other commodities.
