(a) Each licensee under this chapter shall maintain, at each entrance to the licensed premises, a permanently affixed sign suitable to inform persons using the parking lot of the name of the licensee, the hours of the day or night during which such place is open for storing motor vehicles, the rates charged and the closing hours of such lot.
(b) When more than one rate is charged for parking, the figures of each rate shall be shown on the sign in figures of the same size and dimensions. The figures shall measure not less than eight inches in height. The letters and figures indicating the closing hours shall be not less than four inches in height.
(c) The sign shall give the number of the license, if any, under which the lot is operated.
(d) Where the licensee operates a receiving lot in which cars are accepted with the understanding that such cars may be removed to another lot, the licensee shall post on the sign required by this section, in letters not less than four inches in height, the following information: "Receiving Lot-Cars Parked Here May Be Moved to No. _________ Street" (giving the address to which such cars are moved).
(e) Any sign erected pursuant to this section shall be subject to the approval of the Director of Community Development or his or her designee.
(f) Where separate rates or charges are made for day parking and night parking, notice thereof shall be posted on the sign required by this section.
