814.36 BOOKS, RECORDS AND REPORTS.
   (a)   The grantee's operation under the franchise agreement shall be viewed as one financial and reporting unit, and its books and records shall be kept in such a way as to show the activities of this unit separate from any other activities of the grantee. The Village may inspect, at any time during normal business hours, all records and documents related to expenses, revenues and accounts receivable applicable to the operation of the franchise agreement. Such records shall be kept available for a minimum of eighteen months after the month in which a transaction occurs. Access to the records or reports provided pursuant to Section 814.32(b) shall not be denied on the basis that such records or reports contain "proprietary" information. Access to the records and reports shall be granted at the nearest local business office. However, the Village shall treat all information obtained from the grantee with the same degree of confidentiality as would be accorded similar information by the Federal Communications Commission.
   (b)   The grantee shall file, with the Village, true and accurate maps of the system to be constructed under this chapter and shall keep the same as current as is practical.
The grantee shall file, with the Board of Trustees, copies of all complaints, petitions or other orders of the FCC, EEOC or FAA, in which the grantee is a named party, and the grantee's response thereto, if any, all within ten days or as deemed necessary by the Cable Television Commission.
Upon reasonable notice, the grantee shall appear at any meeting or public hearing called by the Board to review or evaluate grantee activities or performance.
All complaints, petitions or orders received by the Village or the Complaint Officer related to the grantee's activities under this chapter shall be forwarded to the grantee and answered by the grantee, with a copy to the original addressee and the Complaint Officer, within ten days of receipt thereof.
   (c)   Whenever, pursuant to the franchise, the grantee makes available for inspection by the grantor, or submits to the grantor, reports containing information considered proprietary by the grantee, and the information is separately labeled as such, the grantor shall not disclose or release such reports or information to the public without prior written consent.
