(a) The grantee shall meet or exceed all the material construction and service requirements set out in the franchise agreement and, in addition, shall meet or exceed those material service requirements set out in the grantee's proposal.
(b) Methods of construction, installation and maintenance of the grantee's cable television system shall comply with the National Electrical Safety Code, National Bureau of Standards handbook eighty-one (Part II), United States Department of Commerce, to the extent that such Code is consistent with local law affecting the construction, installation and maintenance of electrical supply and communications lines.
(c) Any tower constructed for use in the grantee's cable television system shall comply with the standards contained in structural standards for steel antenna towers and antenna supporting structures, EIA Standards, RS-222-A, as amended and published by the engineering department of the Electronic Industry Association.
(d) All methods of construction, installation and maintenance of the grantee's cable television system shall also comply with all applicable laws and rules of the State and the Village. The Village reserves the right, from time to time, to issue, by duly adopted ordinance, such reasonable rules and regulations concerning the construction, operation and maintenance of the system as are consistent with this chapter and necessary to protect the rights of Village residents to the peaceful enjoyment of the public ways.
