The President of the Board of Trustees, as Local Liquor Commissioner, may revoke, suspend, or fine (or any combination) any retail liquor dealer’s license for a violation of any provision of this chapter or for a violation of any State law pertaining to the sale of alcoholic liquor, or for any other good cause.
All decisions of the Local Liquor Control Commissioner suspending or revoking a license, refusing to issue a license, denying a renewal application, or levying a fine for a violation, shall be reviewed by the Illinois Liquor Control Commission solely on the basis of the official record of proceeding at the hearing before the Local Liquor Control Commissioner, pursuant to ILCS Ch. 235, Act 5, § 7-9.
