802.03 DEFINITIONS.
   As used in this Title Two of Part Eight - the Business Regulation and Taxation Code:
   (a)   "Commercial establishment" means a building or premises, or a portion thereof, the principal uses of which are for:
      (1)   The rendering of personal or material services for profit; or
      (2)   The retail sale or distribution of material goods or chattels for profit.
   (b)   "Floor area" means the sum total of the gross horizontal areas of all of the floors of a building and its accessory buildings, measured in square feet from the exterior faces of the exterior walls or from the centerline of party walls separating two buildings or business establishments on each of the respective floors. In computing such floor area, open area devoted to vehicular parking or loading of material shall not be included. Outdoor areas used for storage and/or display of material shall be considered in the computation of such floor area. Storage area shall not be included in such computation if the total square feet does not exceed one-fourth of the floor area described in this subsection.
   (c)   "Food establishment" means a building or premises, or a portion thereof, the principal use of which is for the sale, dispensing, distribution or serving of food, foodstuffs or drinks for consumption on or off the premises or inside or outside of the building.
   (d)   "Owner" means an individual, firm, association, partnership, corporation, trust or any other legal entity having sufficient proprietary interest in a commercial establishment to maintain and manage its operation.
   (e)   "Scavenger" means any business, subsidiary or subsidiaries of a parent business that provides the service of collecting, with vehicles designed or used specifically for the purpose of the collection of raw garbage, construction waste, trash, yard waste or any other waste, other than grease or solid food waste, commonly referred to as garbage trucks, or for the depositing and retrieval of containers commonly referred to as dumpsters.
   (f)   “Junk scavenger” shall have the same meaning as in Section 878.01 of this Code.
