It is hereby declared to be the public policy of the Village to ensure fair housing and freedom from discrimination throughout the community; to ensure that all persons have a full and equal opportunity to consider all available housing and obtain fair and adequate housing for themselves and their families in the Village; to protect the community from the effects of residential segregation by race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, age, marital status. disability, parental status, sexual orientation, source of income, military discharge, status, gender identity, retaliation, housing status, aiding/abetting, and willful interference.
