As used in this chapter, the following terms shall be given the meanings herein ascribed to them.
(a) “Board” means the Foreign Fire Insurance Board created by this chapter.
(b) “Department” means the Village of Richton Park Fire Department.
(c) “Fund” means the Foreign Fire Insurance Tax Fund, pursuant to 65 ILCS 5/11-10-1.
(d) “Members of the Department” means all fire-fighters employed by the Village, whether full-time, part-time or paid-on-call. Any member of the Richton Park Fire Department who has not completed the applicable probationary period or is not in good standing in accordance with regulations shall not be eligible to be an officer of the Board.
