(a) The Parks and Recreation Commission shall consist of eleven members to be appointed by the President of the Board of Trustees and confirmed by the Board to serve respectively for a three-year term. The successor to each member so appointed shall serve for a term of three years beginning May 1 of the year in which he or she is appointed and until his or her successor is duly appointed and qualified.
(b) All members serving on the Commission shall be residents of the Village.
(c) As vacancies occur on the Commission, the President shall appoint persons, confirmed by the Board, to fill vacancies.
(d) Commission meetings should have the presence of a Parks and Recreation Department staff or designee.
