(a) There is hereby established, by and for the Village, the office of Village Attorney.
(b) The Attorney shall be appointed by the President of the Board of Trustees, with the consent of the Board, and shall hold office until his or her successor is appointed and qualified.
(c) He or she shall be a duly and regularly licensed attorney of the State.
