(a) This Code, which consists of all ordinances and resolutions of the Village of a general and permanent nature, revised, codified, arranged, numbered and consolidated into component codes, titles, chapters and sections, shall be known and designated as the Codified Ordinances of Richton Park, Illinois, 1984, for which designation "Codified Ordinances" or "Richton Park Code" or "Code of the Village of Richton Park" may be substituted. References throughout this Code to "this Code" mean this 1984 edition of the Code of the Village of Richton Park.
(b) All references to component codes, titles, chapters and sections are to such components of this Code unless otherwise specified. Any component code may be referred to and cited by its name, such as the "Traffic Code." Sections may be referred to and cited by the designation "section" followed by the number, such as "Section 202.01."
