§ 92.042 PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT FURNACE.
   When any person shall be desirous of constructing or altering any steam boiler, locomotive or furnace within the city, he or she shall make application at the office of the Chief of the Fire Department for a certificate for that purpose, and shall furnish a written statement giving the style and dimensions of the boiler and furnace, together with the height and size of stack or chimney, and the method or device to be adopted for preventing the emission of dense black or gray smoke. If, in the opinion of the Chief of the Fire Department, it shall appear necessary, drawings of the apparatus may be required.
