§ 58.034 CONNECTION TO PUBLIC SEWERS REQUIRED.
   The owner of all houses, buildings or properties used for human occupancy, employment, recreation or other purposes, located within the Sanitary District and abutting on any street, alley or right-of-way in which there is located a public sewer, is hereby required to connect the house, building or property directly with the public sewer in accordance with the provisions of this chapter within three months after the date of official notice to do so. In the event the building drain of the house, building or property is within 300 feet of a public sewer, the owner shall be required to connect the building drain to the public sewer; in the event the house, building or property is at a distance greater than 300 feet from the public sewer the owner may be required to connect at the discretion of the Board of Sanitary Commissioners; provided, that the wastewater treatment facility shall have the capacity to treat the waste of the house, building or parcel of real estate.
