1325.16 CONTRACTOR'S INSURANCE.
   Contractor’s Insurance. Before any building permit shall be issued, the applicant shall have submitted to the Commissioner of Building, Zoning and Housing a certificate of insurance evidencing proof of a general commercial insurance policy, issued by a company authorized to write insurance in all of the State of Ohio, designating the City as an additional insured therein, by the terms of such insurance the City is covered for any and all claims for bodily and personal injury within the minimum limits of three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) for each person and one million dollars ($1,000,000) for each occurrence and for property damage claims coverage in the minimum amount of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for each occurrence arising or growing out of the street opening, removal of the surface of any sidewalk or opening in any sidewalk, the prosecution of the work for which the permit is obtained or in any manner arising or growing out of the work necessary or incident to the issuance of the permit or that may be occasioned by reason of anything else done pursuant to a permit.
