(a) The position of Part-Time Correction Officer is hereby established.
(b) The Mayor shall appoint all Part-Time Correction Officers upon the recommendation of the Chief of Police.
(c) A Part-Time Correction Officer shall perform such duties and assignments as prescribed by the Mayor and, by delegation thereto, by the Chief of Police. A Part-Time Correction Officer shall also perform such assignments as prescribed by a full-time Correction Officer relative to the duties as set forth in Section 141.25
of the Codified Ordinances.
