§ 35.186 COMPOSITION OF HOUSING AUTHORITY; APPOINTMENT AND TERMS OF BOARD MEMBERS.
   (A)   The Housing Authority shall be composed of the Mayor, ex officio, or his/her designee, and four persons appointed by him with the approval of the City Legislative body.
   (B)   Each appointed member of the Housing Authority shall meet the qualification as defined in KRS 80.040.
   (C)   The Authority shall elect a Chairman and Vice Chairman from its members and a secretary and treasurer who need not be a member of the Authority.
   (D)   Members of the Housing Authority may be removed by the Board of Commissioners for inefficiency, neglect of duty, absence of three consecutive meetings or conflict of interest.
   (E)   A member having a financial interest in the outcome of any matter before the Housing Authority shall disclose the nature of the interest and shall disqualify himself or herself from voting on the question and shall not be counted for purposes of a quorum as to such questions.
   (F)   The records of the Board shall be kept in the custody of the City Clerk and shall be available to the general public.
   (G)   A simple majority of all members present where there is a properly constituted quorum shall be necessary to transact any official business.
