§ 37.03 POLICY FOR HIRING RECRUIT PERSONNEL.
   (A)   Personnel hired in the Fire Department shall be hired as recruit firefighters and shall maintain that rank/position for one year of employment.
   (B)   Personnel hired for the Fire Department will be scheduled for the in-house training program and EMT training and then assigned to shift to complete their training within the first year of recruit firefighter employment.
   (C)   Upon successful completion of the training program, including all in-house required testing, the personnel may be recommended by the head of the Department to be hired as a firefighter for the city.
