GENERAL PROVISIONS
§ 34.01 EMPLOYEES SERVE AT PLEASURE OF BOARD.
   All employees elected or appointed by the Board of Aldermen shall hold their offices at the pleasure of the Board and may be removed at any time by the Board.

§ 34.02 INTEREST OF TOWN OFFICERS OR EMPLOYEES IN TOWN CONTRACTS.
   No member of the Board or other officer or employee of the town shall be peculiarly interested, directly or indirectly, in any contract made or entered into by the Board, nor in any matter where the rights or liabilities of the town are, or may be, involved.

§ 34.03 CONSOLIDATION OF OFFICES.
   Except as otherwise provided by law, the Board may, in its discretion, consolidate any two or more offices and assign the duties of both offices to one or more persons.

§ 34.04 EMPLOYEE BONDS.
   The Town Clerk, Town Administrator and other offices or employees required by the Board shall, before entering upon their duties, post bond in amounts specified by the Board. All bond premiums shall be paid from town funds; provided that, when two officers are combined, such as Clerk and Administrator, only one bond shall be required.

DEPARTMENTAL OPERATING ORGANIZATION
§ 34.15 DEPARTMENTS ENUMERATED.
   The organization of the town shall be divided into the following departments:
   (A)   Administrative Department;
   (B)   Public Works Department; and
   (C)   Public Safety.
