(A) Whenever a nuisance is found to exist within the corporate limits of the town, the Town Administrator or his or her assign shall give written notice to the owner or occupant of the property upon which such nuisance exists or upon the person causing or maintaining the nuisance.
(B) A chronic violator of the weed or vegetative nuisance ordinance, as defined by state law, shall, without further notice in the calendar year in which the notice is given, take action to remedy the violation and the expense of the action shall become a lien upon the property and shall be collected as unpaid taxes. The initial annual notice shall be served by registered or certified mail.
