ORDINANCE NO. 71-03

AN ORDINANCE TO APPROVE, ADOPT AND ENACT A SUPPLEMENT TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES FOR THE CITY OF REYNOLDSBURG, OHIO
WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio, has completed the supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Reynoldsburg, Ohio which supplement contains all ordinances of a general and permanent nature enacted since the prior supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Reynoldsburg; and
WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporation has recommended the revision or addition of certain sections of the Code of Ordinances which are based on or make reference to sections of the Ohio Revised Code; and
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Council of the City of Reynoldsburg to accept these updated sections in accordance with the changes of the law of the State of Ohio; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REYNOLDSBURG, OHIO:
SECTION 1. That the ordinances of the City of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, of a general and permanent nature, as revised, recodified, rearranged and consolidated into component codes, titles, chapters and sections within the 2003 Replacement Pages to the Codified Ordinances are hereby approved and adopted; and that the updated sections in accordance with the changes of the law of the State of Ohio are hereby accepted.
SECTION 2. That the Clerk of Council pursuant to Section 4.13 of the Charter shall cause a notice of such proposed action to be published one time in a newspaper of circulation in the City at least seven days prior to adoption of the legislation.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon approval thereof by Council as provided in Section 4.13 of the Charter.
