(a) Whenever any type of construction is commenced without first obtaining a building permit in violation of Section 1333.01, then all work shall be immediately halted and the owner, operator or contractor shall be notified of the infraction, the need to obtain all of the necessary permits, and a time table in which to make the necessary applications for all necessary permits.
(b) If the owner, operator or contractor does not completely halt work until the proper permits are issued, or the owner, operator or contractor does not file the necessary permit applications within the time table that is given to them, then a citation shall be issued.
(c) In addition to any other remedies or penalties provided for within the Codified Ordinances, whoever receives a citation shall be fined one hundred dollars ($100.00). Each day that such violation continues for which the citation was issued shall constitute a separate and distinct offense. The owner may also be required to remove the structure from the premises by completely dismantling it.
