Unless authorized in writing by the Director, or his or her designee, no motor driven vehicles shall be operated on the airport, except on roadways, in vehicle parking areas, or in places that are designated for such vehicles. Motor driven vehicles operated on the airport shall be appropriately licensed and shall comply with the insurance requirements imposed by the state of California for the operation of motor driven vehicles on the public street. Any operator of a motor driven vehicle on the airport, if requested by the Director, shall furnish evidence of compliance with state of California insurance requirements.
